Boy, does time fly. Heading into a new year makes you realize that every year is as fleeting as the previous one. We're not yet old and wise monkeys, but we did gain a sparkle of wisdom.
We wanted to take a quick break out of our week to introduce everyone to the newest DNN Sharp Jedi, David Hoag.
David brings nearly 20 years of experience in customer service and sales and he is joining our team as Regional Sales Manager, our representative in USA. Many of you who use DNN Corp commercial products have probably already interacted with him over the last 5 years as he worked there as a Regional Sales Manager.
David’s main responsibilities will be to help our USA customers understand why our products are top rated and to tell them about our passionate commitment to excellence. His role will expand much further as we move forward but this is the place you can expect to see his impact almost immediately.
We are ecstatic to have him on our team and are confident all of our customers will feel the same way. You can congratulate him on his new adventure at david.hoag@dnnsharp.com.
And while I still have your attention, I also want to introduce everyone to some other new additions that joined DNN Sharp family in the last few months. Welcome aboard, Irina (Queen of Sales), Valentin (Coding Miracles Master), Stefan (Design Safeguard), Laura (Test Rainmaker) and, of course David!
Thanks For 2014!
It's officially the new year, and you know what that means, resolution time. If you don't believe in making resolutions or don't have any in mind for this year, don't worry. I have plenty for the both of us. This year, I'm with the masses hoping to make 2015 healthier, happier, and more productive.
With that being said, 2014 was our fifth year of existence in the DNN ecosystem. It brought continued growth, some chaos, and a good deal of fun times for us.
But what we've learned is that DNN Sharp is not a suite of products, but a team. Needless to say, we're a nice bunch, with honesty at heart, transparency in our actions, and who value quality when delivering.
Growing DNN Sharp, even as small as we are, is challenging. Our customer base has been growing steadily, and so has support. We needed to beef up the team before reaching a breaking point. So in 2014 we went from 3 to 14. We’ve made some progress at improving hiring, onboarding, and creating a company culture. We’re still learning, but we’re definitely getting better at it.
We Couldn’t Do It Without…You!
Our community’s positive energy has driven us to continue working hard on what we think will change the way you DNN.
Moreover, from all of us at DNN Sharp, a huge thank you to our customers for being a part of our adventure! Your support ensures that we make a better future for both of us. And the best is yet to come!
Finally, a big thank you to our team! You’ve shown dedication, empathy, curiousness, and transparency throughout the year, especially during some of our most challenging times. We are a team before a suite of products!
Now, let’s get 2015 rollin’.
