As everyone knows, DNN is creating opportunities everywhere. That’s no different inside of DNN Sharp. So we’re growing. Not in a crazy way, but in a purposeful way to go after specific goals.
Each person we hire is an opportunity to help add infrastructure that will help solidify what we’re building.
Over the last several months we’ve been working on several internal initiatives to prepare to take us to the next level. To be clear, the startups often struggle with scaling, and we were no different.
But with every additional person hired, the lines of communication go up exponentially – and this doesn’t make growth easy.
So over the last year we’ve been shrinking a bit, tightening up processes, creating some structure that will help us as we scale, and identifying people who could help us take the business to the next level.
Needless to say we’ve grown very quickly. We’ve hired from outside the community to bring some fresh blood. So we are excited to welcome three of our newest hires!
Welcome Diana
The testing crew just leveled-up with a QA Automation Engineer. Ladies and gentlemen, may I introduce you to one of the newest member that joined the DNN Sharp team in Iasi: Diana Stan.
If you bump into Diana, she'll probably jump into any conversation on QA automation, healthy lifestyle or cute bunnies.
When she's not crashing into code, she enjoys farming, scouring the earth for sampling fine white wines and a kind affection for delicious vegetables. Preferably all the same time.
She spends much of her free time in the gym working out or jogging (if you're in Iasi, you'll probably see her jogging around with or without shoes).
Welcome Emanuel
Starting on the same day as Diana is Emanuel Agapie. He is a talented AngularJS developer that joined our Iasi team to provide much-needed help on front-end side. Emanuel loves all things web perf, UI & Javascript.
When he isn't hiking the hills of DNN Sharp Iasi office, he loves karting, thinking deep thoughts at 4 am or performing Pink Floyd sing-alongs under the shower.
His approach to everything in life is delightfully straightforward: be nice to everyone, and the rest will fall nicely into place.
Welcome Robert
Robert Dima adds to our growing Bucharest contingent. He joins us from the land of C# but will be rolling up his sleeves and diving into the backend of our products, helping to improve their performance, scalability, and reliability.
Robert is an awesome dude who read the whole computer science section from the local bookstore. When he’s not coding, he enjoys chillin' with the guys and making a mess in the kitchen.
He spends his leisure days exploring the outdoors with his family.
Diana, Emanuel and Robert are being with us for a couple of weeks and have demonstrated already that they are a great fit for us.
This is an exciting time for DNN Sharp as we continue to grow and we are thrilled to have them be part of our success in the future. So welcome me in joining Diana, Emanuel & Robert. Say hi to them if you see them online!
