In v5.6.x of our modules, we are happy to announce our support for DNN 9.6.1.

Now let's get down to the nitty-gritty on how to upgrade.

1. Friends don't let friends upgrade without a backup first, so this is me reminding you.
   If you're not sure how to do that or need a refresher on how to perform an upgrade I've got you covered right here.
2. Now that you've got your backup, it's time to consider the best path forward based on what version of DNN you are coming from (Spoiler Alert: The closer you are to current with both DNN and our Modules, the smoother things tend to go).  We highly recommended following the Suggest DNN Upgrade Path which says to...
3. Get yourself to DNN version 9.3.2 (if you are not there yet).  You do not want to skip 9.3.2 on your way to 9.6.1.
   You'll want to make sure you have the latest 5.0.x versions of our modules installed before upgrading to DNN 9.3.2
4. From DNN 9.3.2 (or above) you are ready to go directly to DNN 9.6.1, but first, you need to update all DNN Sharp modules to their latest 5.6.x version or you may experience issues as DNN 9.6 has breaking changes that are not compatible with prior versions of our products.
